SOULFUL STAYS

Soulful Stays highlights destinations where atmosphere, landscape, and connection shape the experience. These are places where the setting, pace, and sense of place matter as much as the accommodations themselves.

Timberline Glamping

EIGHT YEARS OF PURPOSE-DRIVEN OUTDOOR HOSPITALITY

Eight years ago, glamping was still a relatively unfamiliar concept across much of the Southeast. Traditional camping and luxury travel operated in separate lanes, and few experiences attempted to bridge the two. Travelers who loved the outdoors often faced a choice between rustic simplicity and resort-style comfort, with little space between.

“What makes their story so special isn’t just the success of their location, but the heart behind it.”

There is a luxury in the wilderness that no city can offer: absolute, uninterrupted peace."

More Soulful Stays

A South Haven retreat expands for 2026 with new tents, updated gathering spaces, and a fuller stay on the farm.

Four miles from the market town of Rhayader, in the heart of Mid Wales, owner-operator Kerena Pugh’s Lon Lodges sits within working farmland at the edge of the Cambrian Mountains. Sheep outnumber people in this part of the country. The landscape is open, elevated, and largely uninterrupted by artificial light.

Zion White Bison

At Zion White Bison, the experience extends far beyond a single accommodation. Set on 80 acres of varied terrain near Zion National Park, the property was intentionally designed to give guests access to the entire landscape from the moment they arrive.
